Join us in the 7 Seasons Cafe in the basement of St Andrews Church for the first Dried Botanicals art session of the winter.
Learn the basics of flower pressing and then make your own art ( 1 8x10 or 2 5x7) using botanicals Annie Lightsey has been drying all summer and fall from our flower gardens.
Annie has been preserving botanicals and creating art with them for decades and is excited to help you unleash your inner artist. This is the perfect event to do with a group of friends or as a date. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks to enjoy while you create.
Annie Lightsey is an artist, herbalist, cook, gardener, designer, and creator of community. Her passion is to help others connect with the sacred beauty in the natural world and discover the sacred, artful beauty within themselves.
